The Desi Boyz track has been watched more than 48 million times on the video-sharing site.

Released in the last quarter of 2011, the music video features Kumar and Abraham with Brazilian model Bruna Abdullah.

Kumar and Abraham star as male strippers Rocco and Hunter performing to a female-only audience in the video.

Actress Deepika Padukone makes an appearance towards the end of the song to discover her boyfriend (Abraham) is secretly working as a stripper.

The Desi Boyz song beats the Aashiq Banaya Aapne title song into second place, with 'Lat Lag Gayee' (Race 2), 'Hookah Bar' (Khiladi 786) and 'Mashallah' (Ek Tha Tiger) making up the top five most watched

Vikram Bhatt to direct sequel to Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty’s ‘Dhadkan’

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt is set to helm “Dhadkan 2″, which will roll from March 2015.

“Yes, I have approached Vikram and we are working on the script right now. It’s too early to talk about the star cast, but, yes, Vikram will be directing the film,” producer Ratan Jain, who worked with Bhatt on “Elaan” in 2005, told IANS.

“We still have to decide whether to rope in newcomers or established stars. We will start shooting from March 2015,” he added.

“Dhadkan 2″ will be a sequel to 2000 release “Dhadkan”. Directed by Dharmesh Darshan, “Dhadkan” featured Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Shilpa Shetty.

Akshay Kumar – Neeraj Pandey’s next titled ‘Baby’

After completing his shoot for ‘Gabbar’, Akshay Kumar is all set for his next action film with Neeraj Pandey. Now, news is that the film has been titled ‘Baby’.
However, we hear that there is a certain significance attached to this title but the makers are keeping it a close guarded secret. While Akki’s last association with Neeraj, ‘Special 26′, was high on suspense, ‘Baby’ is said to have heavy duty and high speed action sequences.
The actor has already started shooting for the film and has even completed the schedule in Kathmandu. Apart from Nepal, the movie will be shot at varied locations abroad like Istanbul, Abu Dhabi and Oman.
Also starring Taapsee Pannu, ‘Baby’ is slated to release on Republic Day in 2015.

 

Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra to act together in Warrior

 

Bollywood newbie Sidharth Malhotra is quickly rising to fame as he is now likely to be cast with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar in director Karan Malhotra's next.
The film has been tentatively named 'Warrior' and is apparently a remake of the Hollywood flick with the same name starring actors Tom Hardy and Joel Edgarton. The story is about two brothers who face each other in a martial arts tournament.
It has also been reported that the film will be a co-production, bringing together the creative minds from Dharma Productions and Endemol.
Director Karan Malhotra's next release however is the much-talked about film 'Shuddhi' to be helmed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
Athought the film has been facing a spate of bad luck with a number of stars such as Hrithik Roshan, Raveer Singh and most recently Aamir Khan, producer Karan Johar's latest tweet reveals his plans for 'Shuddhi' are still on.

Holiday song Shaayraana making: Why did Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha have trouble shooting the song?

Just a few days back by the makers Holiday: A Solider Is Never Off Duty released the song Shaayraana which has been sung by none other than Arijit Singh. Featuring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, we totally loved this track as its easy on the ears and has been shot beautifully. However, both Ms Sinha and AK had a tough time filming this one. In the making video, director AR Murugadoss says Shaayraana is his most favourite song from his upcoming film. The Dabangg babe and her onscreen hero also love this lovey-dovey song which has majorly been shot in the dessert.  And coz of that very reason Akshay and Sona had a tough time shooting Shaayraana. In the video, choreographer Shridhar reveals how he mixed three different styles of dancing – hip-hop, rock and modern jazz for this song. Also, he is all praises for the leading lady of Holiday. Then there is Lootera starlet in the video talking about she felt the rock-n-roll steps won’t go with the song but she was happy when she saw the end result.

Akshay Kumar's next to be based on Ben Affleck's Argo?

Director Neeraj Pandey, whose last film 'Special 26' won critical appreciation, is now all set for his next project. Reporetedly the film is inspired by Ben Affleck starrer Argo and will feature Akshay Kumar.
A leading tabloid quoted a source as saying, "Getting inspired by various Hollywood films is not new to Bollywood. The latest one to join this bandwagon is Neeraj Pandey, whose next film with Akshay Kumar is apparently based on Ben Affleck's Academy Award winning film, 'Argo'. Shooting for the film has already started."
The film is expected to release next year in January.

Akshay Kumar and director Prabhu Dheva’s next venture produced by Grazing Goat Pictures and presented by Pen has been titled Singh Is Bling. Keeping up with the genre of films that Prabhu Dheva is popular for, Singh Is Bling too will be a complete masala, action entertainer. It will also be the first non-South flavoured film to be directed by him. During an earlier interaction, Prabhu Dheva had mentioned that the film will be a complete entertainer, with romance, action and comedy of a different level.
While talking about the film, co-producer Ashvini Yardi confirmed that this is one of the biggest films to come out from their stable. “We are extremely excited about Singh Is Bling. Scheduled to go on the floors by the last quarter of 2014, it will hit the screens on July 31, 2015. We are all looking forward to the incredible combination of Akshay and Prabhu Dheva again.” Presenter Jayantilal Gada added that since the duo is comfortable with a genre like this, the original Akshay style entertainer will surely be loved by the audience. When asked where the first schedule of the film will take off, Prabhu Dheva said that no decision has been made on that front, as the team is still chalking out other plans.
Akshay Kumar’s look in the film has been designed by Manish Malhotra, keeping in mind the word Bling, which is an integral part of the title and reportedly, even Kumar’s character. Apart from sporting the turban, he will be seen wearing a lot of chunky accessories and glamorous apparel. Gada mentioned that the hunt for the lead actress is still on, as the project is still in its initial stages.
